A good pool stun shot is something you should master. It could make the difference between winning or losing. There are many different shots and each has its own rules. You can't just hit the ball, though. Instead, you will need to hit it hard. The greater the chances that it will be able to pocket, the more you hit it.
A stun shot refers to a shot that requires a strong hit. In straight pool games, this means that the cueball must travel straight in and not divert from its intended course. This is usually achieved by raising or putting a "jack up" on the cue.
A "break", also known as a shot, is one made at the last OOB of a straight swimming pool game. There are many different types and types of break shots. Some are used to get out of trouble, while others are designed to make it easier to score. One example is the golden break or the golden pocket.
Another is the break-out shot, or break-out. This type of shot is a good way to score a quick shot when the ball cluster is out of position. Contrary to a jab stroke a "J” stroke is curved much like a pendulum. Similarly, a "jelly roll" is a roll of the cue ball that is especially beneficial for the shooter.
Fancy-looking: Another name for a fancy-looking shot is a "flight." Flight is a fancy looking shot that may not be as accurate but is nonetheless the most impressive. A flight is typically a low percentage shot such as a top/bottom spinning or a flyer.
Stun shot - While it might not be as glamorous than other types of shots but it is still very important. It's a good idea if you have it. Your opponent could easily win the game.
There are also other names for stun shots: the jelly roll and the grade B shot. Which one is the most important?
A nip draw in pool is a great idea. It keeps the CB off the table. A nipstroke is slightly more difficult because there is very little follow through.
