Those who love pool are probably familiar with the Valley National 8-Ball League Association (VNEA), which has nearly 100, 000 individual members and a host of weekly local leagues in over 400 different cities. It has grown to be the world's biggest amateur pool league with 36 members and 36 countries. In addition, VNEA is an amusement business, generating a boatload of revenue. The Valley National 8-Ball League Association allows players to compete in leagues based their skill level. Each league has its captain. The captain is responsible for collecting the league fees and keeping score sheets. Shane Bloomberg, another pool player, has a long and impressive record in the VNEA. He is the grandson of Jeanie, Gary, and Jeanie. Shane was an active participant in the VNEA from the age of nine. He has been a top-ranked pool player in the world. He is a regular participant in the Pro Tour and is expected be named Player of Decade in 2020.
