
If you have watched snooker for any length of time, then you will be aware of Joe Perry. British snooker players, Perry has spent many seasons at the bottom end of the sport. He also enjoyed a few years at the top of the sport. He reached the Top 16 in 2002 for the first time. He has been out of the top 20 for three consecutive seasons.
Joe Perry has been dubbed "the Fen Potter" as well as "the Gentleman". He is a native of the Cambridgeshire area and became a professional in 1992. Since 2003, he has been a full time professional. His brother, Ken, has also been a professional.
Perry has been a regular on the global stage, even though he has not won a major ranking event. In 2011, he finished inside the top eight provisional rankings for the first time, and in 2015, he won a minor-ranking event. This year, he made his fourth appearance at the Masters and was involved in a battle with Ronnie O'Sullivan.

Perry has been in the finals at both the UK Championship as well as the European Open. He was also able to reach the quarter-finals in the World Championship. He reached the semi-finals at the UK Championship in 2004, but lost to David Gray. He was defeated by Stuart Bingham and Judd Trump the following season but lost to Stephen Hendry.
He started his snooker career when he was twelve years old. In the early 1990s, he became a professional and a well-respected player. He reached the European Open final in 2001. In the spring of 2001, he won his second European Open final. He won the Welsh Open in late spring of that year. In 2014, he took part in Wuxi Classic.
He also beat Marco Fu, Matthew Stevens and Jamie Cope in round one of the World Championship and reached the semi-finals at the Masters. As a result, he won his second ranking title. Later that year, he participated in both the Welsh Open (Xuzhou Open) and the Xuzhou Open. He fell to a 14th-place finish at the end.
Despite losing out to Stephen Hendry as well as Graeme Dott in the Welsh Open Masters, he was able to earn a spot in the top ten of the world rankings. On his way to the top, he has won the Welsh Open, the Welsh Open Masters and the Xuzhou Open. He also teaches people how to play this game.

He's made many attempts to beat Ronnie O'Sullivan over the course of his career. He won a 9-5 victory during the first round, 2008 UK Championship. He was just one frame from the Masters 2017 finals but lost to Ronnie O'Sullivan.
He beat Mark Selby in round one of the 2018 World Championship. He also won 2015's Xuzhou Open. He is also a frequent guest commentator on BBC programmes and has taken a number courses.
