
Joe Perry is a well-known player in snooker. British snooker player. He has had a few seasons at the lower levels of the game. He has also been a player in the upper reaches of the game for a few years. In 2002, he made it to 16th place for the first-ever time. He has been out of the top 20 for three consecutive seasons.
Joe Perry is known as both "the Fen Potter", and "the Gentleman". A member of the Cambridgeshire region, he turned professional in 1992 and he has been a full-time professional since 2003. Ken, his brother is also a professional.
Perry has been a regular on the global stage, even though he has not won a major ranking event. He finished in the top 8 provisional rankings in 2011 and won a minor-ranking competition in 2015. He competed with Ronnie O'Sullivan in a battle at the Masters.

Perry has participated in both the UK Championship finals as well the European Open finals. He reached the quarter-finals for the World Championship. He reached the semi finals of the UK Championship in 2004, but was defeated by David Gray. He was defeated by Stuart Bingham and Judd Trump the following season but lost to Stephen Hendry.
At the tender age of 12, he started his snooker journey. He rose to prominence as a professional in the 1990s. He reached the European Open final in 2001. He then went on to win the Welsh Open in late spring of that year. In 2014, he participated in the Wuxi Classic.
In the same year, he defeated Matthew Stevens, Marco Fu, and Jamie Cope to reach the semi-finals in the World Championship. He went on to win his second ranking title. He participated in the Xuzhou Open as well as the Welsh Open later that year. He had fallen to a lowly 14th place in the standings at the end.
Despite losing to Graeme Dott and Stephen Hendry, he has managed to secure a place in the top half of the world rankings. He has won the Welsh Open Masters (Welsh Open Masters), and the Xuzhou Open. He also runs courses to help people learn how to play the game.

He's made many attempts to beat Ronnie O'Sullivan over the course of his career. He won a 9-5 victory during the first round, 2008 UK Championship. He was just one frame away of the Masters finals in 2017, but lost to Ronnie O'Sullivan.
In the first round, he defeated Mark Selby, the current champion. He also won in 2015 the Xuzhou Open. He has also taught a variety of courses and been a BBC guest commentator.
