Table shuffleboard rules can be a bit confusing for those just starting out. If you're new to the game, it's a good idea to familiarize yourself with the basic rules before you start playing. There are a few different versions of shuffleboard, each with their own set of rules. Crazy Eight is one of these variations. It's a slightly more difficult version than the standard version. It features a unique scoring system that rewards points in different ways.
Table shuffleboard has one rule. Each player can only score once per round. The game is decided by the player who scores the most points, usually between 15 and 21. The players who have reached 15 or 21 points can choose to shoot another round. A player can also shoot the "hammer", the final shot of a round.
In shuffleboard, the first goal is to get your puck closest to the table's end. To do this, move the puck from one edge to the other. You will have to slide it along the edge to do this. It is important to stay behind your opponent while you shoot.

It's a good idea after your puck has landed, to push it to the right spot for scoring. Once the puck has landed in the desired spot, it can be pushed forward or backwards to ensure it scores. You should keep your foot on the ground behind it.
Three scoring zones are available to players. Each zone award players different amounts. The first zone gives one point for every puck that lands in its zone. The second zone awards two points for each puck, and the third section offers three points for each puck. To score in third zone, the puck must cross between the "2", and "3" areas.
The last scoring zone is located in the middle of the table near the foul line. The foul line is a non-playable area. Also, the puck on the foul line is worth no points, unless it lands in the correct zone.
Pucks can be numbered. You can inspect if your puck is on the line by standing over it. Players can also push their pucks to better scoring positions in order to increase their chances at winning.

Pucks are weighted and come in sets of eight. They measure 2.3125inches wide. A regulation-sized puck weighs 12 ounces. Recreational pucks can weigh 11 to 15 pounds. In general, smaller pucks should be used on games that are played on narrow surfaces. Larger pucks, however, are best for larger surfaces.
Knock Off and Crazy Eight are two of the most common versions of Shuffleboard. They can be played up to four players. Crazy Eight is another popular variant, similar to classic games.
